The Layer 7 Cortical Interface is a breakthrough brain-computer interface that will empower people living with neurologic disease. Each flexible array is 1/5 as thin as a human hair and contains 1024 electrodes that sit on the surface of the brain. Unlike other brain implants, surgery for the Layer 7 is minimally invasive and reversible.

The brain implant, chest implant, and external charger were designed in unison. Soft forms provide reassuring comfort close to the body, utilizing medical-grade materials. Elegant surface articulation speaks to the state-of-the-art nature of the Layer 7 system.
